Sharing Love

Hi!  I would like to take this opportunity, to tell you about the most important thing in my life right now.

It is the love affair I am having with my lover.  This love affair consumes every waking moment of my life.  I wake up in the morning, and the first thing I do, even before I get out of bed is to greet him.  We have a conversation on how our relationship is going to function that day.  He provides me with insights on how he will help me get through the day.  This takes us to the time of breakfast. 

Since I am a retired lay minister; I have no outside job to go to; so I start out doing what he has planed for me to do that day.  It may be to do something for my wife, my second lover; or create blog entries for messages my lover would like to provide other of his children.  This goes on through the rest of the day.

The neat thing about this great love affair I am having; is that my lover wants to share this love affair with others.  But first my lover requires that  our love affair comes first.  He is a very jealous lover.  He requires his lovers to love him completely.  When we love him with all our heart, mind, spirit and strength; He gives us the power and ability to extend our love affair to others.  Only then will be able to truly love others.

About now, you may be asking yourself, “What is my definition of love?”  Love = is placing the needs and desires of the other party above your own and trusting the other party to be doing the same.  Now since our lover is also in love with others: He must take into concern, the needs and desires of all his lovers.

I am sure, that by now,  you recognize that I am having a love affair with the Creator and Controller of the Universe.  Other people may be calling, my lover, God or other similar names.

Since He/God has concern over the whole universe now and the future; He has to take into concern the best for the present and the future – this concern may not always be the best for us at that moment in time.

But if it is not the best for us at that moment in time, He will make every effort to help us get through  that difficult period.  So this has given you a brief introduction to the love affair I am having at this time.

Is there really a God/Creator?

Well, I don’t know about you, but I look around my life and world and observe all the world and what is in it.  This observation provides me with the insight that almost everything around me has been created by someone/something.

As an example: my watch I am wearing, was created by something/someone.  It didn’t just start to exist or it didn’t just change over on it’s own from a time dial to a watch.  I could go on and on like that with my car, food, home, clothes, etc.. 

And I even have evidence that proves that I had a mother and father who created me.

So its really hard for me to believe that the planet Earth that I am living on was not also created.  Even if you could show me absolute proof that the earth evolved from something; where did the first atom come from? 

What about a Controller?

As I start to accept that everything around me was created.  I realized that everything that was created, must have been created for a purpose.  And that purpose, must be part of a plan.  Everything, in general seems to fit in to a controlled world.  From the nine months it takes for humans to be born to the fact that there is a sunrise and sunset every day.  If I drop something it falls to the fact that mathematics exist.  All of these things prove to me that this world is under control by a controller.

So what?

Well, if there is a Creator and Controller?  Why was all the universe created and kept in control for.  The most unique thing about the planet Earth in comparison to the other planets is that on planet earth there are creations called humans.  They have physical bodies like other “living” creations.  Also all the “living creations” have a mind that guides them to complete their function here on earth.  That function may be to create a web to catch a fly or to run a farm to provide food for itself. 

But humans seem to  have something that other living things do not have.  That is the power to be creative, scientific, developmental, and many other powers.  A few of the other living creatures have a small percent of these powers.  But only humans have these to the level that they do.  And only humans have the power to make use of these powers along with their minds to develop the growth/decline of the world we live in.  And two of the most unique things about humans is that they can conceive of the concept of a Creator and Controller and that they can “Love(put other creations needs first)”.

So why?

So why were humans created along with the planet earth?  Well if there is a Creator and Controller, the logical (one of the powers humans have) place to go for an answer is to this Creator/Controller.  So why does their exist these humans?  The clue is in the uniqueness of these created humans.  The Creator/Controller must of created these humans so that He would have somebody to share this universe with.  And to share the special powers(will be called spirit/spiritual henceforth).  The most unique and most important of these is “Love.”  This power of love gives humans the opportunity to make the choice of making what the Creator/Controller (for now on stated as “God”) needs and desires more important than theirs.

So who is this God?

My definition of the word “God” besides being the Creator/Controller is that He should be the most important thing in a human’s life.  The reason is that He is in charge (being the creator/controller),  And he created humans to love him with their WHOLE heart, mind, spirit, strength.  But one of the most important parts of love is that it requires the CHOICE to place the other person’s needs  and desires above their own.  In order to make the choice, their must be an alternative.  Humans and other living creations have an in born tendency to seek their own needs and desires first.  Humans call that tendency “Self Survival.”  So the choice is given them to make so that they can  choose God’s control of their lives over their own control (which comes naturally).

So why earth?

Since each human needs to make this choice (God’s control of their life over their control) and it is not easy; He created a training program to help them prepare to make that choice.  The planet earth is the school and living life is the training program. 

The challenges in life help us understand that we are not in control of our life or this world.  The benefits (health, family, earthly love, etc..) provide us with the reasons for outside control of our lives.  These are just a few factors in this training program.

So Why do we need to love God?

Our physical bodies are basically our training program uniforms and part of the training program resources.  Once we have been given the training and the opportunity to make the choice; we graduate (Die) and if we chose to love God with our WHOLE heart, mind, spirit, and strength, our spirit joins Him in a forever love fest.

Tell me more about the training program.

Well God creates humans with a natural tendency to ask why the earth and themselves exist and for what purpose.  So they start looking around for answers.  And this search leads them to part of their training program, religion (information on how we can relate to God).  I will be discussing how one of the religions does this.  It is the one that I am most familiar with.  That religion is Christianity. It consist of a Book which Christians believe give us the information we need to make that decision.  Christianity also provides us training classes, or as we call them churches.  We have a leader that helps us understand the training program.  His name is Jesus Christ.
