Introduction

Introduction

Hi!  My name is George Hach.  I’ve lived here, on this earth for nearly 75 years.  I’ve lived in poverty and wealth, illness (e.g. polio) and wellness, as a dish-washer and chaplain, single and married, and a lot more.  I’ve faced good times and bad, near homeless and in the wilderness, and a lot more.  Needless to say; I have had a very broad experience.  I’ve dealt with almost any kind of challenge in some way (sexual attacks, etc.)  I’ve been a victim and an advisor.  I’ve been involved in some way or another in almost every way.

During that 75 years, I’ve learned a few things.  Some of them have taught me some ways of coping with challenges.  And in the following postings I will be sharing with you some of the ways to deal with these challenges – I’ve learned.  Before, we start on them; we need to take a look at some of the basic life factors I’ve developed.

My earliest memories and stories others have told me about my childhood have started me down the path of developing these basic factors.

As example, one of the first things, as a baby, I needed to learn was; that each person is in two secular worlds.  The first world we learn about, is that “I/me” exist.  I’m a person and I like to be in control of the world around me.  Example:  When I cry, I want attention.  The second secular world I needed to learn about is the world of “others.”  I need other persons around me.  They are needed to care for me.  I can try demanding for that care; but some of them don’t look favorably upon demands.  They usually react better when I smile and laugh, etc.  When I use this technique, I usually get more attention and care; then I get with the demanding.

As I started to get older; I started to notice that the others around me could not do everything I would like them to do.  They had limitations.  But some of those times, I learned; that they could go to a higher level to get results(e.g. they could not teach me, because they had to work, so they had to arrange for me to be educated in a school).   Also I learned that just because I wanted something; their were higher levels that said that I couldn’t, like the justice system (e.g. police).  These and other factors taught me one very basic truth.  Their were others in control of the worlds I lived in.

As I learned this fact of life; I also learned that the people who were in charge, usually had people in charge of them.  You can keep going up another level, quite a few times, with what is called authority levels.  If these authority levels fail to function within the set of guidelines they are required to function within. there are penalties.  So I and the others I influence are restricted to what we can do, and if we violate these restrictions, there are penalties.

There is some one at a higher level almost for all authority levels.  But I soon learned that there is a top level.  The generic term, for this highest level is called: “Higher Power.”  The term most people use is called “God.”

In the next posting, I will discuss what I’ve learned about the “Higher Power.”

Inspiration

Inspiration

In the last posting we discussed how Jesus was our example for our physical world, but we needed some “Inspiration,” for our spiritual world.  Let us start looking at what God has provided for that.  In the dictionary: Inspiration is an inspiring (to have an animating effect upon to influence , stimulate or impel creative or effective effort.  to cause, guide, communicate or motivate by divine influence.  to arouse or produce (a thought or feeling) as kindness inspires love).  an inspiring or being inspired mentally or emotionally.  an inspiring influence; any stimulus to creative thought or action. a divine influence upon human beings resulting in writing, or in action, as of a saint.  As you will see this will fit what we will cover exactly.

We start to see these effects in our childhood as we are inspired to do many of the creative and special things we do.  Like being outstanding at singing, or art, or being a loving person.  Many people have chosen to call this effect the Holy Spirit.  I shall alternate using this or Inspiration.  Let us start by making a very small introduction to this area.

We see this taking place when we receive a temporary and spontaneous increase of physical, spiritual, or mental strength.  This is a extraordinary and supernatural occurrence to prepare a person for a special task.  This effect will come upon God’s turned-over-lives-control people for any special tasks He will give them (like these postings).  We should also ask for Inspiration as we face our daily problems as well as life’s major challenges.

You must allow the Holy Spirit to fill you with new attitudes and motives so tat you can improve the quality of your life.  Jesus explained that we cannot control the work of the Holy Spirit.  He works in ways we cannot predict or understand.  Just as you should not be controlling your physical life, so you should not try to control your spiritual life.  It is a gift from your lover – God.

Sometimes we feel that if the Holy Spirit leads us, it will always be “besides quiet waters”.  But that is not necessarily true.  He led Jesus into the desert for a long and difficult time of testing, and he may also lead us into difficult situations for training purposes.  To make that all important decision to love God or myself.  But when we face trials, we should first make sure that we haven’t brought them upon ourselves through unwise choices.  If not, we should ask God to strengthen us for our test.  Finally we need to be careful to follow faithfully wherever the Holy Spirit leads us.

This brings us to taking a strong look at our attitudes.  Jesus gave us some excellent suggestions to act on.  We shall start on these in the next posting.

Coffee Break Time

002-Coffee Break Time

“Well Audra, this is our Coffee Break Room.  We still keep up that old-time habit of having coffee breaks.”

“It’s nice,” Audra answered.  “But let’s get back to the interview.  Why did they totally ignore what God created.”

“It was simple,” I responded.  “They wanted to believe that they were in control of their lives and the world around them.  They even used one of the gifts God gave us, science, to prove they were in charge, instead of what it was intended for; to show all the beauty and complexity of all God created.”

“Could they have been right?”  Audra interrupted.

“Well that what is so funny” I answered.  “ When they created something like a watch: they were very proud of it and showed off their control over it.  And yet, when God created a human body, as a baby, they would not give God the credit for the child; along with the control He should have over it.  They took the very small part they had in the creation of that baby, and claimed the baby is theirs and took over control of it.  And this was even though God would periodically show them through various ways that he was in control over, if and when, they would give birth; along with all the other factors like health, sex, and so much more.  He gave them the gift of participation in creating of one small part of his world and they tried to take over control.”

“And what was really weird, was they tried to take over control over things they had no part in the creation and control over.  Such things as the weather.  They would see the orderliness of what was happening; such as the sun coming up in the east and setting in the west over a twenty-four hour period; and they would determine when things should occur like bed-time.  This would give them the sense of control over their lives.  Even though God could change it at anytime and did every so often.  Like when he would throw in a bad storm that could shut down their plans.”

“They would, write that off as an exception.  Instead of asking themselves the questions they should have, like: ‘Is God trying to get our attention?’  ‘Are we doing what we should with what he created.’  Instead they were upset, ‘Why did this happen?’”

“Audra would you like a cup of coffee?”

Hope for the Future

“I can,” Audra commented.  “see how it would be difficult to trust if in releasing control of your life to God, you had to worry about the future.”

Yes,” George answered.  “It would, and that’s why we need to change another attitude, hope.  In other words, we have to stop thinking about what we are going to face or do in the future and concentrate on trusting our lover to guide and help us through the future.  And this means, that we need to change our attitude of what we hope (concern for the future); from the impact we will have on our lives to trusting that God will take care of it and that all we have to do as hope, is to think about our future sharing love with God in the eternal love fest.”

“We have to keep in the forefront of our mind; that there will be no more challenges or assignments after our graduation.  Only the joy received in sharing love with someone on earth, multiplied countless times.  So much so, that we cannot fully comprehend it in earthly body terms, and our spirit will be fully part of all the love that God and all his children that join him share.”

“The closest we can come to it is the joy we have during a honeymoon, or after a birth of one of our children.  But you have to take that and multiply that hundreds of times, to even come close.  And the alternative to that is knowing that for eternity you will not be sharing any of that love.”

“To fully understand this hope, we must fully understand and do love and trust.  Because only then can the Spirit work in your heart, mind, soul/spirit and guide you to that hope.  It is that hope for the future eternal love fest that will get you through any challenges, tests (e.g. dealing with forgiveness), or assignments our lover God will give us in order to bring us more fully in love with him.”

“And once we come close to this level we can see the quality of our life improving.  We do not have to have concerns about the present or the future.  We need only concern ourselves with pleasing our lover as we walk through the doors of life opened by our lover hand in hand with him.”

“But,” Audra inserted in the conversation.  “I find it so hard to wait for things to happen”

“Well,” George responded. “Let us look next into “Patience” as an attitude to work on next.”

Trust

As we have seen to have love we must submit control of our life to our lover.  This release of control  shows that we "Trust" our lover and thereby love him with our WHOLE heart, mind, soul, and strength which he requires of anyone who will join him in that eternal love fest.  So therefore trust is the proof of love.

Trust means that we believe our lover wants what is best for us and that we want to join him.  That is the proof of the right decision to join him.  And by putting that trust into effect we receive the peace that we have the Creator himself in charge of our life.  What more could anyone ask for.

This peace and trust gives us a better quality of life.  And as a result we are in a better position to master the challenges and assignments we may receive from our lover.  An important factor in this trust is that our timetable and God's timetable are not the same..  Usualy we think in minutes and God thinks in years.  We must learn to wait.

Since love is placing the needs, desires and requirements before your own; it is critical that the control of your life is submitted over to your lover, for these two reasons:

1.  For your lover to place your needs, desires and requirements to the level of importance they should be, He must have that control.

2.  And if your lover's needs, desires, and requirements are to be second to His, you need to relinquish control to him so you can concentrate on what your lover should receive from you.

By relinquishing that control you achieve the peace and love your lover God wishes to give you.  And he also will give you the power to complete the challenges and assignments you receive from your lover.  That is why you need to relinquish control to your lover, so you can improve the quality of your life.

God wants spirits who can join Him in an eternal love fest.  Love requires that you place your lover's needs, desires, and requirements as more important than yours.  This requires a thoughtful commitment made by deciding the question whether you will be committed for eternity to placing God first and in  control of your life and existence or retain control yourself.  To make that decision and commitment, God provides us with a training plan to make that decision and commitment with full thought.

That training plan consist of placing these spirit/souls in a temporary body on the planet earth.  God uses this training plan and its many parts of it to help us to choose which way to make that decision and commitment .  When we complete the training plan and make the decision and commitment, God removes the spirit from the body and those who have chosen to love him with all their heart, mind, spirit/soul and strength and brings them into his eternal love-fest.

This training program uses such things as challenges that force the trainee to either trust God or themselves to get through it.  Also he uses Assignments which help us to reinforce our commitment to God.  He has many other procedures in his training program such as being parented in what love is all about.  All of this helps us make that all important decision.

Why

05/23/2014

God being a God of love and seeking praise and glory, created the angels who eternally will bring that honor and praise.  But the angels can not bring him love.  Because a key ingredient of love is the ability to choose whether to love someone (put their desires and requirements before their own) or not.  The angels do not have that capability.   So God created humans who have that ability.

These humans were created as spirits like their creator.  These spirit manifestations of the spirit world although like God, did not have the powers of God of creation and other powers. were called souls.  They did have the power to choose to love God with all their heart or not.  But for them to make that choice successfully they needed to be schooled in the pros and cons of their choices.  So he created a training school for them called earth along with a temporary body to be used during that training.

He established a training program where they go through such training as challenges which force them to choose to depend on God or themselves.  And they are given assignment  where they are asked to do something for God to show their love of Him or not.  And they are given tests to force them to choose which is more important to them, their needs and requirements or God's.  When they have completed the training program and made their final choice they graduate by leaving their earthly body and their life on earth.  They then either share love with God in a eternal love fest with Him and each other OR NOT.

Hi.  I am a 75 year old man who has lived a very complex life.  It included being a lay minister/chaplain, etc. within the Christian faith.  I found that I was not truly happy and that I had not truly fulfilled my purpose here on earth.  Once I had retired, I spent my time, taking an in-depth look at my life and what I was living for.  During that time, I developed a love affair with my BFF, my love, God.

This Blog will be used to share about that love affair.  I am sharing about this love affair, for many reasons.  One of them is  that it has
made my life truly meaningful.  I am learning how to share love with God.  This sharing has truly brought me joy.  And maybe you might be looking for some love and joy in your life.  Maybe this is the way you can have the same love and joy also.  So read on and check to see if this can help you.

Hope

Once you have established that you love God enough to turn over control of your life to your lover and trust Him with your life; you will be able to look forward to the everlasting love fest when you join Him.  This is called hope.  This hope offers you joy for the future, but it also offers you joy and peace for the present.

You have joy and peace for the present; that you are pleasing your lover and that you have the most powerful influence in this world guiding you, by opening the door of what you need to do next and giving you the power to do it.  This simplifies life, all you have to do is ask: "Is this something my lover would want me to do?" If it is, then all you have to do; is to do your best.  God, your lover is responsible for it.

This really improves the quality of life.
