Sharing Love-2

Now that you know what Sharing Love with God is about, You might want to start on a program of developing your own  “Love Affair”.  The first step is to be sure you  fully understand what the word “God” should mean to you.  The word “God” means, what is the most important thing in your life?  Until you can make the Creator/Controller and what He wants from you, the most important thing in your life; you can not move ahead. 

This step, because of it’s importance, will be the most difficult thing you will do in your life.  Because you will have to disown your natural inclination of wanting to be in charge of your life.  During your life, you will fight many battles in this area:

1. As a small child you will want everything in your life to be when you want it, how you want it, etc..  But your childhood will be spent learning that the outside world controls your life.
2. When you start school, you will fight this battle all over again.  You will learn that the teacher, controls the classroom.  And you have a lot to learn about living life within the world.
3. When you enter the vocational world (Your job), you will learn that there is multi levels of authority that has a lot of control in this area.
4. Then there is the world of living in a society: the living in a country, state, county, city, where there are all kinds of laws on what you must do.

These were just a few of the battles of “Who is in control of your life?”.  But when you start looking at the world around you and start to realize that there is a purpose for your life.  To prepare for your next life.  That when you leave this earth bound life, you can have a life of a forever love fest.  Failure to prepare for this forever love fest, means that you have only this earthbound life to look forward to.  So you will have to make a choice; You either make living on this earth the most important thing in your life or preparing for your next life.

This will be the hardest battle you will ever fight.  Even though you have had to fight the above mentioned battles, there were earthly benefits:

1. Food, shelter, love and a lot more.
2. Friends, knowledge, vocational future, etc..
3. Money, friends, acclaim, things, etc..
4. Peace, friends, housing, etc..

Well there will be some limited earthly benefits, that we will cover.  But the main benefits will be the reward you will receive in your next life.  This will be much like, when you were in school.  You had benefits such as friends and a life in a society, during that period.  But the real benefit you needed to strive for, was the preparation for your new life in the vocational world.  Well we will be covering the preparation for your forever love fest.

Preparation

You will need to overcome your natural inclination to be in control of your life.  You will have fought these previous battles and they will have helped.  But in all these battles, there was always the future promise; that if you were successful you would have more control of your life.

In the battle of life to be prepared for this forever love-fest, you will succeed by exchanging control of your life for the LOVE-fest (placing God’s needs and desires above yours).  This will mean; that you will be living a life different than the rest of the world.  These will be the most difficult parts of the battle you will fight.  Until you are ready to give  up control of your life to the Creator/Controller and live a life that will be different than the majority of the rest of society around you, you are not ready to try to be prepared.  This was no different, when you were in school.  In order to be successful you needed  to give up being in control and to give up a packed social life for the world of being a committed student, you could not succeed.  To do that you needed to realize the value of being prepared for your future life.

Value

The number one value, if you choose “Sharing Love” instead of “Being in charge” is Your life does not end with death, but instead you “graduate” into an forever love fest.  It is equivalent in a minor way to graduating from elementary school instead of graduating from college with a PHD to live your earthly life.  The PHD takes a lot more work, but it is worth every effort.

The second value is participating in an earthly AND forever love-fest; instead of a no REAL love in your life.  By preparing for your forever love fest, you will learn how to love God and His other children.  Thereby you will have a loving life on earth and forever.

The third value is that through achieving a loving relationship with God and His other children, you will achieve a trusting relationship with God and His other children.  This trust is achieved because you have turned over control of your life. 

The fourth value is that you will have a peace within your life, that you cannot achieve any other way.  You will still need to fight your daily battles.  But it is a peace that is based on Your lover is in control.  And he is responsible for the results as long as you do your part.  He will walk with you and help you through any challenges you must face.

The fifth value is that he will provide you with gifts of abilities to do things He will ask of you.

The sixth value is that you will develop  a feeling of acceptance by Him and other of His children.

The seventh value is that you will build a sense of accomplishments from doing the challenges and assignments He will give you to do.

The eight value is the advice you will receive to achieve a higher quality of life.

The 9th value is that you will never be lonely, He will always be there to talk to.

The 10th value is that your anger will be brought under control.  In the past you got angry that things did not go the way you wanted.  With God in control, you just need to trust Him.

No problem with attitudes, because you will be dealing with love, trust, and faith.

Authority over you is no problem because God has the ultimate control.

You will receive many blessings (God’s favorable actions).

You will have much to celebrate.

Change will not be a problem because your lover is in control.

Your character will be strengthen. 

You will be a part of His Training organization – the church.

You will develop a sense of contentment with your life.

Discipline will be developed in your life.

Encouragement will come from your lover and others.

You will develop a group of true friends.

Gentleness will become part of your life.

A sense of goodness will become part of your life.

You will have much to hope for.

Life will have a meaning and purpose.

Your life will have morals and values.

You will receive spiritual nourishment to live life day by day.

Patience will be developed through your love and trust.

Purity of life will offer you some protection.

These are just a few of the many values and benefits you will receive if you are willing to turn over your life and love over to the Creator/Controller of this Universe and work towards having a forever love fest with your God and Lover.  Compare them to what you will receive if you are to continue maintaining control of your life and self-love.

Decision

You’ve seen the value and benefits of making the decision to share love with your God and lover.  How do you go about doing it?  Well I suggest that you start with being sure that you believe in a Creator/Controller of the universe.  If so then make sure that you recognize that it is important that you make sure that it is important to make that Creator/Controller The God (The most important thing in your life) of your life.

Once You have a God in your life, you will realize that He can do a better job controlling your life than you can.  When you reach this point, you will need to have a conversation with Him making a commitment to Love Him with your WHOLE heart, mind and strength.  This will be much like you would become engaged and married.  Just as when you might become engaged/married, you make a commitment to make the other party important in your life.  You must do the same with your God.  And just as when you are engaged/married you change your life from being self-centered to your lover centered: you need to do the same.

The decision to love and trust is vital in both cases, it is more so in “Sharing Love” for eternity, because it impacts your forever future.

Getting to know your lover

One of the purposes for engagement is to learn as much as you can about your lover and how you can best relate to your lover.  It is the same with “Sharing Love” with your God and lover.  You do this by reading everything you can get on God and how to relate to Him.  The best way to do this is to find a mentor (somebody who already is in love with God and relating to him) to help you do this step.  Have him/her help you find a organization of believers (eg..Church) and books (eg..Bible) to read.  Once you’re a member of a group of lovers of God, share in their large group relationship (e.g. Worship), this will help you feel as part of a large loving relationship.  Also it is even more important to join one of their “small group” relationships, so that you can develop your personal relationship with your lover.  Participate in any educational programs they might have like Adult Sunday Schools.  All of these will give you help in developing your loving relationship with your lover God.

In our modern society there are many internet services to get more information on your lover such as Blogs, etc.  But don’t forget that once you made the decision to turn over your life to Him – He is with you in your mind, whenever you wish to talk with Him.  Through these talks you will be having dates with your lover.

Earthly Love Affair

Once you have started down the path of Sharing Love with your God; you will find that many of the same factors that pertain to God also pertain to sharing love with other children of His.  This sharing love with other children of your lover God will help you be a better lover of God.  And in exchange He will give you powers to be a better lover of other children.

All of this sharing love with God and other children will give you a much better Quality of Life.
