Being raised by a religious mother, meant that I was sent to Catholic school.  I was encouraged to be involved in everything religious (e.g. Communion,Confirmation, altar boy, etc.).  Also being the eldest boy, I was encouraged to become a priest or religious.  I went to a Christian Brothers training school while in high school.  While their I was sexually molested.  So I left their and went to a public school.  During that phase, I missed being involved with religion.  So I became active in my local church.  So much so that I was about to become a deacon.  But my local pastor got into seual trouble and my mother got into other non-religious trouble.  So being a Catholic did not seem to be an answer for me.  I then went into my study phase.
